I love a good story. I believe told well, they can build empathy where it doesn't exist, destroy barriers where overabundant, and influence change and I enjoy being the mouthpiece, the interpreter, the actor.
Most of my experience is in theater, through school and community performances and classes since the age of 5. I have also had the fortune to train for film scene work with Marco Perella and taken several other courses for commercial and improv to broaden my skill set and range. I am a quick study and have a variety of interests and hobbies that come into play: I played soccer (field and goal keeper) growing up, can do a range of arts and crafts from sewing to building lamps, and am currently learning the ukelele. Until I moved to New York last year, I swing danced and two-stepped (country partner dance) almost every week for over ten years--I am still looking for a place here, if you have any suggestions! Until then, I'll get my fix each time I visit Austin. I can also dance other partner styles, have some proficiency in Jazz, and also sing (soprano).
My profile can be found on Backstage here and I am currently independent, seeking representation.
